Pubblimarket2 launches The North Face® and Natur Kompaniet promotion.

The online competition to promote the launch of the footwear line.

Pubblimarket2 has been commissioned by The North Face® to manage and coordinate the project supporting the new footwear line promoted by The North Face® and Natur Kompaniet, a Swedish chain of outdoor stores with 31 points of sale scattered all over Sweden.

The project’s goal is to promote The North Face® footwear line on the Swedish market through an online photography competition: Natur Kompaniet customers and all outdoor enthusiasts were able to participate in the contest by uploading an outdoor photograph to the dedicated minisite.

The competition, online from 1 to 15 May and open to all outdoor enthusiasts, proved highly successful, with 153 outdoor photographs uploaded, over 2,500 unique visitors to the competition website and a considerably boost to the image of The North Face® and Natur Kompaniet.

The jury awarded the prizes to three photographs chosen from all those uploaded: the first prize-winner will enjoy a weekend for two in the Alps, the second will receive a pair of Havoc GTX XCR shoes by The North Face®, and the third The North Face® Duffel Bag.

In addition to creating the minisite for the competition, featuring an application for the sharing of users’ photos on their Facebook profiles, Pubblimarket2 also developed the communication strategy, devising a supporting cross-media campaign composed of an ADV banner published on the chain’s website, a programmed ADV campaign in Natur Kompaniet’s magazine, and a POP toolkit dedicated to the 25 stores and comprising totem, window sign, display stands and flyers.
